Fenwick Bakery

The Fenwick Bakery is very well known where I grew up. The owners have followed a strict tradition of old fashioned scratch baking for nearly a century. I gave their aging site a modern facelift while using typography and color to portray the high value they place upon tradition.

I collected surveys from customers to determine their needs and preferences. I found that the majority of the bakerys customers were middle aged to elderly with limited computing skills. For this reason I kept the navigation as simple as possible and adhered to common web standards such as blue text for hyperlinks.

Auto Lunacy

Auto Lunacy is a locally owned and operated business that rents out antique and specialty vehicles to advertising agencies, film studios, photographers, and more.

The owners of the company were satisfied with the visual design of their website however they did not possess the expertise to update it on their own. I simplified this process for them by creating a PhP application to allow them to keep track of and update their vehicle inventory and picture galleries via a web based GUI. Additionally the application allows the owners to keep track of repairs and maintenence costs.

Bombing Run

During my junior year at Towson University the school decided to offer a video game course as part of a pilot program to allow students from different diciplines to work together. My group consisted of myself, a Computer Science major, and an Art major.

It proved to be a very challenging yet worthwhile experience. After weighing our options and considering how much time we had to present a functional proof of concept (one month) my group opted to go with a 2D arcade style game. Every step of the creation process was learned as we worked.

Taeo UI

Early on in my World of Warcraft addition I started to play with modifying the game's flexible user interface. I started with small additions and modifications such as an extra action bar.

Things snowballed and eventually I found myself sitting on a completely re-designed interface. I began sharing my designs with the modding community and eventually began releasing my UI to the public for others to download and use.

To date my UI compilations have receieved more than 25,000 downloads and have been featured on several popular WoW community sites including WoW Insider.

GoBeyond IT

GoBeyond IT offers cost saving alternative IT solutions to businesses in the local Baltimore area. To show potential clients how much money they can save they wanted to implement a pricing calculator into the Wordpress site we had built for them.

I developed a Wordpress addon which places a simple AJAX driven GUI into the existing Wordpress administration panel. The staff at GoBeyond is able to add, remove and change the pricing of an item on the calculator quickly and easily.

Morris 4x4 Center

Morris 4x4 Center has been a leading provider of Jeep parts and accessories online since 1997. They came to Groove Commerce looking to revamp their website with a more modern look without changing the backend.

I was tasked with coding our new design and implementing it in a way that would allow Morris to keep all of their content intact.

PC Fallon

PC Fallon is an online department store specializing in home decorations and quality bedding. When PC Fallon approached Groove Commerce they were running an ancient e-commerce platform with a design straight out of the 90's.

Our team of designers gave them a modern yet elegant facelift and I set to work implementing it into ASP.Net Store Front - a full featured e-commerce platform.

WindowPro

When WindowPro approached our team at Groove Commerce their site was running on an aging CMS that was difficult to use. I migrated their site intact over to the much more robust and easier to use WordPress platform.

We also made a few small tweaks in the process. The main topic of each page is displayed in an HTML "h1" tag - something that search engines like Google love! Additionally we added breadcrumbs to help users navigate through the site.
